PROTECTING INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

IT is notified for the general information of the public that with effect from 30th September 2011,
the Institute has discontinued the printing of the Industrial Property Journal. Instead, and in
compliance with the provisions of the Industrial Property Act, 2001, an electronic copy of the
Journal is now available to the public on the Institute’s website www.kipi.go.ke for download
free of charge. However, for the clients who have ongoing subscriptions, printed copies of the
Journal will be made available until the end of the subscription period. Limited copies of the
Journal on CD ROMs will be available for sale at the Institute for those who may not be able to
download the Journal from the Institute’s website. The Institute will also not renew or accept new
subscriptions.
